Requirements
  • OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
  • Storage: At least 8GB of free space (for firmware extraction)
  • Tools: Samsung Odin (for flashing the result)
Safety & False Positives

Due to the nature of Android engineering tools (bytecode manipulation, boot image patching, and executable packing with PyArmor), some antivirus engines may flag these files as "Generic" or "Malicious".

  • Why? The code is obfuscated to prevent tampering, and the tool performs low-level system image modifications.
  • Is it safe? Yes. These are 100% false positives common for reverse engineering utilities. If you are in doubt, you can run the tool in a Virtual Machine or Sandbox.
How to Use
  1. Download H-K-S_Magisk_Avbtool_Patcher.zip from the link below.
  2. Extract the ZIP archive fully into a dedicated folder (it contains the exe, bin folder, and all dependencies).
  3. Launch H-K-S_Magisk_Avbtool_Patcher.exe from the extracted folder.
  4. Select your AP firmware (.tar.md5) and optionally add TWRP (.img).
  5. Click Start Patching and find your ready-to-flash .tar in the output folder.
